So I do not need an older door specially made for my pool as the pool guy told me? I looked at your link and the instructions say to install the new door the same way as the old door. There is no old door. I assume the instructions will cover how to orient the new door? Any tips on that?

What type of Weir Door do I need for my pool? My 35 year old pool has 2 skimmers without weir doors. The openings are 1) 7.75" by 5.75" and 2) 8" wide by 6". Centered in the top of the openings is a 1" high by 2" wide metal tab with a 3/16" hole centered in the tab. The guy at the local pool...
