It allows you to use 3rd party SWGs such as Hayward/GoldLine with a Jandy Panel. Jandy used to support 3rd party SWGs but now if you try to connect a non-Jandy SWG to a Jandy panel, it will lock out all future SWG communications including to a Jandy SWG! http://www.chlorinatortranslator.com/

IIRC you can unbolt the transistor assembly from the heat sink/chassis to release the PCB.

How do you un-assign an AUX relay from being a color light on a Jandy RS-8 panel? System setup only seems to allow assigning a color light but not clearing it. "Clear memory" doesn't do it. UPDATE: Apparently un-assigning a color light can only be accomplished with a Jandy One Touch panel...

The Pool Pilot turns on with the pump which is controlled by a Jandy RS panel. No unusual problems there. I'm looking for a way to check salt level, get warnings, turn on boost mode etc. with my phone.
