Dolphin m500, possible to add wifi?

I might just do that. email support says it's not compatible....but their site says it is in one spot, but not in another. IF the hookups all work, I guess it just depends if they've got the feature locked out somehow for "unsupported" models. Closest dealer is about 30 minutes from here since...

Dolphin m500, possible to add wifi?

I've had my m500 for about 5 years now, and it's been a reliable lifesaver keeping the pool clean. One of my only complaints about this guy has been lack of a remote control, or having to stand right on top of the unit...just to use the app via bluetooth. I noticed that the m600 has wifi, and...

    dodged a $700 bullet...

I connected the ones from the cell. I even pulled the sensor and tested it for resistance when activated. 0 ohms.

    dodged a $700 bullet...

So my ic40 cell just flaked out on me right as the weather is getting warm here in AL. It started giving me the red flow light yesterday. After testing out jumpering the red/black wire on the flow sensor with no luck, I figure it's time for a replacement a year or so earlier than I had hoped...

DIY upgrade from pentair easytouch to intelliflo w/easytouch 4

Woohoo! I got everything up and rolling this weekend. I got the ps300 surge unit installed, along with the intelliflo. It took a few minutes to get the programming for sppeds just right to run the chlorinator, but it worked out really well. The only part that was a PITA was redoing some of my...

DIY upgrade from pentair easytouch to intelliflo w/easytouch 4

Well, I finally got my pump in (long story). I'm looking at my easytouch panel, and the COM ports appear to have a small board attached already. It looks have some secondary COM port connections of it's own. Would I need to stick with connecting to the original ports, doubled up....or use the...

DIY upgrade from pentair easytouch to intelliflo w/easytouch 4

As far as the pump power itself, I assume I'll just disconnect the line going through the relay and reroute it straight to the breaker, correct?

DIY upgrade from pentair easytouch to intelliflo w/easytouch 4

I'll get that info in a bit, but I do know it got replaced less than a year ago after a power surge in the neighborhood. Even then it was less than 6 months old.

DIY upgrade from pentair easytouch to intelliflo w/easytouch 4

Folks, I'm looking at doing an upgrade to my single speed pentair pump to hopefully save on energy costs this year. I'm hoping to DIY this for the most part to make it more affordable, and have an electrician I know sign off/finish out the connections, for the obvious warranty benefits. From...

    cell output/ other electrical issues

I guess that's good to know then.... I was tinkering with run times/percentages up until the point all this happened, and I had really thought I could dial it back since it's rated for a pool almost twice my size. I just didn't want to overlook it if there was some kind of malfunction. - - -...

    cell output/ other electrical issues

So, I get home from work one day a week or so ago to find our brand-new 3 week old pool with the pump/chlorinator and the deep end LED not working, along with some other non-pool related stuff hosed up as well. Now I know what the likely cause is....but seeing as I wasn't there to witness it...

Dolphin Supreme M Series Owner’s Club

I got my m500 last week after my build completed. I talked the builder into swapping out the polaris/pump for the dolphin for the same price ($1200), so I was pretty pumped. It cleans wonderfully, but I have to say the app sucks a big one. Aside from changing the modes that you cant touch from...
