I have filter and pump 5 ft above the surface of the pool (I bought the house with this already that way). It is a 1.5 HP Century motor. The pump runs dry for 1 hour before pumping water through the filter. Every time I shut the pump off, restarting becomes a big chore. Please provide your advise.

Thank you!!! I ordered it. - - - Updated - - - It is. However it didn't unscrew. As suggested in the forum, I ordered Fitting Removal Tool part number 10-102-00.

My problem - my wall mount does not have restrictor plate. I need to unscrew the wall mount, and am unable to do it. Is there special tool? I'm not successful at all.
