leaving the batteries out actually fixed the issue. I was skeptical but I can confirm. I hope it won't be a recurring problem.

Just got my pool replastered. they had to change the single drain to a split main drain. I've been brushing it everyday and notice all the dirt and debris just sits right next to the drains. I would assume the drains suck that into the filter. is there a problem here? I even closed the diverter...
