Actually, one of the water parameter listed is called stabilizer, and it's at 50. Could that be it? I will definitely invest in a quality kit as well so I can keep up with proper tests.

Sorry for the metric measurements, it's just how they measure it here. I'll definitely not put as much as they recommended though. I can't see anything reguarding CYA levels on my results.

Good point. I will eventually do landsscaping around the concrete deck will will add more walking. We will live with it as is for this season and improve the lanscaping next summer.

Thank you. Forgot to add the depth. It will be 8ft in the deep end and 3.5ft in the shallow. Comes with the standard 3 ft concrete deck which we will like extend in a few spots for an extra seating area.
