How did my water stay clear?

Yea that makes sense, I opened my pool in early April to a similar chlorine loss. I guess I just assumed that was because the water was so cold when closed and opened. I thought the Hot Tub would be a mess when I opened it since the water was so warm. I was pleasantly surprised to see such...

How did my water stay clear?

Yep, my routine was a teaspoon of LC each night. Last dose was sometime in November. Then it was left closed and running at 100F until last weekend. I didn't test when I finally got the cover off last weekend. So, I guess it's possible that it just held chlorine for 6 months.

How did my water stay clear?

So, my hot tub cover ripped and started getting water logged last October. By late November it became too heavy to lift and I stopped adding chlorine. I planned to leave it for the winter and get a new cover in the summer. Fast forward to last weekend when my new cover came. I cut the old...

How do I change my pump speed??

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to change the pump speed on my Jandy FloPro pump. I’ve found threads that explain it when using the iAquaLink RS but nothing with the Z4. The pool builder set my pump at 2500 rpms, with a speed boost aux option. But, now that I have solar panels I’ve...

    Semi-permanent pool safety fence

I would put a mesh safety fence around the entire concrete perimeter. Maybe put the table and chairs on the deck and some loungers in the pool area where the table and chairs are now. The fence is annoying because it breaks up the spaces and it's not very aesthetically pleasing but it keeps...

You and my kids both! We're yet to walk into the pool through the steps. Jumping in from the platform is the only way.

    Contracts signed on Long Island

Hey all! Just wanted to post an update with pictures of the final product, to finish up this thread. Pavers and landscaping were done last October and the pool was closed immediately after. Thanks to this site I was able to open it up myself and have been maintaining the cleanest pool in the...

Audio Video setup around pool patio

For those alexa/echo users like myself, I've found that the echo link amp has worked well. I have 4 rock speakers around my pool and patio area wired to the amp in shed. The amp can be put into a music group like any other echo device. So the music in the backyard can be synced with the music...
