I think I could have debris stuck in one of my skimmer pipes. Is it ok to pour liquid plumber into the skimmer to see if it will dissolve what may be clogging the pipe. I have one skimmer. When I shut off the main drain the pump will sucks all the water out of the skimmer line then it fills...

The water temp sensor on my Intellitouch will not re-calibrate to current temp. I checked connections. It reverts back to old setting after I change the temp and press the menu button. Any suggestions? Thanks Roy

The capacitor I want to "borrow" is a 25 from my whisperflo fountain pump and the one I want to replace on the whisperflo filter pump is a 30.

Can I temporarily use a 3/4 hp pump start capacitor in a 1 hp pump? that is until I can get a new one Monday.

As well as my light problem in another thread my pump is now acting up. Turned it off to switch sand filter to backwash and the pump would not restart. Not prime but I mean not turn back on. It sits for a few minutes and then clicks on by itself and then clicks off. It never actually starts...
