    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

Ok so it’s normal for the flap to be open at the bottom, as it’s letting exhaust water exit the robot? Seems weird, why not just make it some sort of grate instead of a flimsy rubber flap. It honestly feels like it’s going to come off eventually…

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

This curved rectangular plate made of soft rubber that my left index finger is touching in this pic. What is it for and is it supposed to be loose at the bottom?

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

Can anyone explain what the soft rubber plate/cover thing is just below the charging port? Mine is attached at the top, and just hanging at the bottom. Is this how it should be? Or did my glue/adhesive that keeps this gray rubber piece on come loose already after 1 week?

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

Ok it worked via the Support method. Kinda odd that is the only way to get it to connect. What is the point of having the pretty start page of the app with the pool and the + button if you have to go into support to do anything...Thank you was super simple.

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

I've followed this exactly, multiple times, and I CANNOT get this Scuba S1 to pair with my phone/the app. I also cannot get the QR method to work. No joke I have an electrical engineering degree, write code, have setup many devices like this before...and CANNOT get this to work. Any tips? I...

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

Just bought one of these on Prime Day. Hoping it will do a good job on my somewhat larger pool...concerned about that, and the slope issue thing...getting stuck in the deep end. I guess we will see how it does...so should I update to the latest firmware right away? New firmware seems to make...

    Aiper Scuba S1 Review

Not sure this has been said in this thread already, but leaving any pool robot in the pool is always a bad idea. Your robot WILL fail quicker than if you take it out when the robot is done cleaning. More time in the water means more time the parts are soaking in chemicals and in the sun. This...

Underwater Solar Lights for Plaster Pool

I’ve done some searching and it kinda blows my mind there are no nice underwater solar pool light options. Only the LedecSun lights seems to be halfway decent, and you have to order them from Spain. Am I missing something or not looking in the right place? I would pay several hundred for a nice...

    Ledecsun solar lights?

Can anyone with the magnetic versions comment on where the magnets are located on the back? Is there 1 magnet, 2, several? How far in from the outside are the magnets located? I want to install stainless steel discs where my old pool light niches are, and then stick these lights magnetically...

LedecSun Solar Lights for Vinyl Pool w/ Concrete Walls?

I have an old 1960s plaster pool with 3 old American 120V pool lights, only 1 works. I don’t like the idea of adhesive, so I’m thinking of making some sort of metal disc, installing it where the old light cavities are, then buying 3 magnet versions of these solar lights and sticking them to the...

Is there a way to remove hot tub filter without all the stuff breaking loose?

Seems like whenever I take out my hot tub filter, some of the stuff that is caught in the filter comes loose and gets back into the water as I unscrew it. Is there a trick to this? It is disheartening watching all that 'stuff' go back into the water, there has to be a better way to remove...

Home with 16k Generator getting Hot Tub - load shedding question

Thanks for the replies. Why would a load shed box be required, when both the Generator, and Hot Tub have their own breakers? The breaker would trip before any damage is done to the generator. It seems redundant, unnecessary, but I am no electrician.

Home with 16k Generator getting Hot Tub - load shedding question

I have a whole house 16k Generac (70A breaker) with automatic switch, and I am considering getting a J385 hot tub which requires a 60A line. The question I have is, do I need to add a load shedding box for the hot tub to prevent damage to my generator? Or is it a non issue? I read that the...
