we are getting ready to install our Aqua trol HP. Does anyone know if it matters if it installed vertical or horizontal??

It is a vinyl liner. How do you get the cc reading? I have also noticed our return jet is turned where it is blowing water up. I will have my husband turn it when he gets home.
