My liner has a hole in it on the floor of the pool. I can feel what I thought was air but realized must be water. Can I patch the hole or replace liner? I would like to make it through the season but I’m losing water rapidly.

I think my above ground pool has a leak in the liner. It’s not possible to look for wet ground as my pool is 2.5’ in the ground. Being that it is winter time, how do you suggest I find the leak?

That’s what I thought. He insist the black algae is there and has been a couple of years. Says water has been in pool 7 years and hasn’t touched pool since last season

Is it necessary to drain then acid wash an inground finite pool to get rid of the algea? Asking for a friend, he thinks it’s black algea.

I test my pool so I don’t think it algae. Pool is clear and test results balance.

Thanks will try. My filter is less than a year old. I think maybe rinsing a Lil longer may help. When I turn filter back on it comes out clear then has a burst of dirt then back to clear

I have the same issue with my brand new sand filter.

I vacuumed my pool to filter, turned off pump, backwashed till clear, rinsed until clear then turned back to filter only to see dirt return to the pool. Why is this happening?

Hi! I just turned my pool pump on and the pressure is below 10, usually closer to 20. Do I backwash? I thought the need to backwash would increase pressure.
