Are those unions available from 2 inch to 1 1/2 inches? My pump is 2 inches but the rest of my system is 1 1/2. Thanks Lori robin

The female portion of the pump is fine. The pump sits a little lower than the pool and after opening the valves to and from the pool, to fill the pump and filter, I can see it weeping between the nipple and female opening. Just a bit at first and the longer it sits there the more water leaks...

Hey Guys, I've got a Whisperflo pump, new, and can not get the 2 inch nipple, coming out the top of the pump to seal properly. I'm using teflon tape. I've tried using more tape, less tape, and it still is leaking. The suction, or the nipple at the front of the pump seems to be leak free...

One other question, can I use 14 gauge stranded wire from the timer to the pump. Stranded is all that's available here in Mexico or at least where I'm at. That's 14 gauge on the switch. Thanks Lori robin

I'm going to need some further advice and how to get his pump wired. I'm going to have to use the supplied toggle switch that came with the motor, rather than the one I wanted to use. There are just two positions on the new switch. Hi and low speed. I'll include a picture of the toggle...
