Yeah, I looked at that one, but the mfr was 9-14 and Amazon's rec was 12-15 years and it says that the interior hole measures 20 inches wide, so it didn't strike me as a good fit for my guy. Thanks!

I have an autistic sixteen year old who seriously lives for his pool, but I'm having a heck of a time finding an inner tube pool float that is comfortably his size. He's a big guy (think xxl swimsuit) and he's probably 5'10 or 5'11 right now, so even the "bigger" inner tubes are a bit tight on...

I hope so, too. I just checked it as it is filling and one of the floating joints has popped out so we're draining. We've been babysitting it through the whole fill, so I don't even know when this happened. I seriously feel a little sick right now.

Man, I have to say that this is the most precarious pool set up I've ever had. Just...wow. It is filling and as far as I can tell, everything looks good re: leveled base (definitely the *most* level pool we've ever had, that's for sure!), but these movable joints scare the chlorine out of me...

The instructions for our 16.5 x 9 x 48 say 15 x 15 inches for the wood. Good luck!

Yeah, I realized that after I posted the link. Fortunately I found the right ones at Home Depot. *Whew*

So if the instructions indicate 15 x 15 x 1.2(?) inch pressure treated wood, that's not lumber, that's pressure treated plywood, right? Because the instructions also say that the wood grain needs to be perpendicular to the support legs and I don't know how to do that with 2 x 10 or 2/x 12 cut...

Right? Pavers were my first thought, too, as I've used them before, but only with round pools that don't have braces. I'm reading about problems specific to the oval pools with the pavers cracking under the side braces, and the instructions also indicate that we should go with pressure treated...
