I only used a cup and half today. First time at this point, I agree ☝️ not concerned about PH. My ? Since the pH is down to 7.2, shall I leave that and start aerating to bring the PH up and hopefully TA comes up?

Thanks for all the info! Had no idea. This is the first ever I’ve had to use it! One cup only. Hoping it didn’t too much damage 😬 So… now my PH 7.2. I guess over time TA will come down. Shall i start aerating to get PH back up to 7.6 or leave it for awhile?

Okay, so. Worked!! Although, both the drop and digital meter dropped by .2 reading 7.9 and 7.4 respectively. So which shall I use? My TA is now at 110, down from 130. I’m gonna keep going to try to get more in range. Will that dry acid do any damage to other chems or pool? I am going to use...

Thank you. I had both Dry acid and mutator acid. But I just added dry (diluted) for your .2 test for my test wand thingy. For my future additions I will use muriatic acid and report back. Thank you again!!

So…. Lol. I also bought this handy dandy 🙄 new PH measuring instrument… along with the new CYA view tube and new agents from TFtestkts. I will try the old fashioned way, lol, when I get home. When you are saying test/dose. I assume use the PH decreased and test every 15, right?

Ok, so. I bought a new CYA test tube this year and bottle to measure. When I went back to my old reader… I had better reading. The new one is much larger 🤷‍♀️

Happy Tuesday! My CYA is trending up! I’m at about 35 (30). My PH is going up (8.6) I did vacuum and cleaned out filters. Shall I worry about that PH and get that down ? Thank you for the help! 🙏
