I did not drain my tub. It really foamed like crazy when I first added the splash-less bleach, but that was a one time event. After that, the foaming has been minimal and things got to normal pretty quickly.

I just did the exact same thing with my Hot Tub. Who knew that splash-less Clorox is different formulation? You can't really tell from the label :( I am questioning if I really need to drain the spa. The outside temp is around 20 degrees this morning, and it could be another month before...

I am using the Dichlor / Bleach method for my hot tub. I have a couple of questions about adding liquid bleach. Is it recommended to leave the cover open for a while after liquid bleach is added, or can I simply add and close the cover? If FC is low and I add some bleach to bring FC back up...
