We don't typically "open" our pool and pull the mesh cover until May. Sometimes, Mid to late May depending on outside temps. But these are all great suggestions. Thank you.

Thanks, I seen those this year. I thought about that, but here in IN it might be -20 one day and 60* the next in during winter! No consistency. I hate to have to worry about pumping water off all the time!

Yes it came with the thread connector piece. Just took it off for the pic.

This piece does not fit in the inlet to allow the threads to meet. I may have to shorten and warm it up a bit to make it smaller diameter.

Got the fittings in the mail today. The piece does fit the inlet fitting threads, but i will need to trim the piece as it does not fit in the inlet.

Went to Menards today with the inlet piece that hold the little ball thing to make the jet. Well it must be it’s own size, as nothing fit? I hate to drain the pool down now that I just filled it to change the whole piece that goes through the pool.

Well I know pool season is almost over, but after a few complications with the pool company, my pool is finally up. I couldn't get anyone to haultimate water in, so I had to fill with my well. Now I have a 24' x 52" red watered pool swamp. Where do I start? I refuse to buy from local pool store...
