Please help with coping and expansion joint issue.

Even if the salt water does drain well, it's still bad for the bond beam isn't it?

Please help with coping and expansion joint issue.

Yeah that grout does kind of look like caulk. When the grout was new it was a real pretty light grey. I have no idea what those brown streaks within the grout are.

Please help with coping and expansion joint issue.

I see from reading on here that you do not want water in the expansion joint. I have about 100 ft. of Deck-O-Seal that needs replacing. I'm waiting for the weather to dry up so I can replace it. In the meantime there are areas like the one in the picture that are getting minimal water inside. My...

Pool only a year old. What are these stains?

Is there any way to get the stains out before I seal it? Or better yet, can I color it before I seal it?

Pool only a year old. What are these stains?

When I add acid, I'm always real careful and do it right above the water so I don't spill any. These stains are around the whole pool, even where I've never added acid.

Pool only a year old. What are these stains?

Sorry. Yes. It is a pool that has a saltwater chlorine generator. The stains on the coping don't concern me as much as the stains on the concrete/mortar/grout or whatever it is. Those really, really scare me because they were pretty and white (white-ish) when new.

Pool only a year old. What are these stains?

They're on every brick and mortar joint. All 136 feet of them. It's not chemical. The grout/mortar answer is a good possibillity, though. Any other ideas?

Pool only a year old. What are these stains?

This pic shows all three stains. The white stuff on the stone. The dark areas in the mortar and the "sandy" looking stuff as well. The area is completely dry, even though it looks wet. Can you tell me what is going on?

Does my Pebble Tec look like it was acid washed good enough?

OK, my pool builder promised me over and over again that even though the packaging did'nt say Pebble Tec, it was the exact same thing. He even said it comes from the same "quarry". Anyway, I've attached a picture for some of the more experienced folks to look at and tell me if it was acid...

Question about plumbing in my new pool.

The three lines on the main pump are: main drain, skimmers, and spa main drains. In that order from left to right. The booster pump does not suck water in from the main drains in the shallow end. I thought about that earlier, but no luck.
