Adding 3rd Valve/Actuator to my EasyTouch 8 System

The actuators in the EasyTouch system are DC --- not AC -- so, you need a 24vdc spdt for the EasyTouch relay. I'm not clear on your setup, but wiring 2 actuators together would not have helped me at all -- I need to control each of my 3 actuators independently - having them operate together...

VS Pump keeps tripping GFCI Breaker

I've done some searching and while I have read a lot of posts from people who have had GFCI/Pump issues, none seem to be identical to what I am experiencing. I'm hoping others can shed some light as to what might be making my breaker trip. I have a Pentair EasyTouch 8 Panel with a StaRite...

Does anybody have wiring pictures they can post of an EasyTouch

Re: Wiring Intelliflo Pump to Easy Touch panel OK - I completed my re-wire yesterday based on everything I read on this site and in the Pentair Manual. Previously my VS Intellipro pump had been wired to the Pump Relay -- I have removed the connection to the relay and wired the pump directly...

Adding 3rd Valve/Actuator to my EasyTouch 8 System

Finally got it correct --- here is the correct wiring for the IDEC SPDT that I purchased in case others follow a similar path: Top section --- 1) RED wire is spliced and connected to BLACK wire from Actuator - NOTE: for The Pentair/Compool CVA24 Actuator, the BLACK wire is COMMON; the RED &...

Adding 3rd Valve/Actuator to my EasyTouch 8 System

Re: I have a need for a third valve for my system Thanks Jason - I played with it for way too long today and couldn't get it to work... what you said makes total sense -- I'll test it out again tomorrow. Right now I have the 'red' 24V wire from the EZ touch breaker spliced into the black...

Adding 3rd Valve/Actuator to my EasyTouch 8 System

Control third valve with Easytouch 8 OK - I spent most of today trying to get my actuator working... I think I'm close, but it is not quite there. I thought that I had followed the wiring diagrams from the previously linked thread perfectly, but here is my result: When I hit the 'Aux 7'...

Does anybody have wiring pictures they can post of an EasyTouch

Does anybody have wiring pictures they can post of an EasyTouch with a VS Intelliflow Pump and an IC40 transformer? My dipole 20a GFCI breaker is tripping on an almost daily basis. It looks as if the original electrician for my pool has the IC40 transformer and the pump wired sharing this same...

Adding 3rd Valve/Actuator to my EasyTouch 8 System

Hi all, I've been reviewing this thread as I have a need for a third valve for my system. I purchase and received the IDEC 24v DC SPDT (http://www.alliedelec.com/search/produc ... u=70172638) and base (http://www.alliedelec.com/search/produc ... U=70174848) from Newark. My actuator is a...

Help with Pentair UltraTemp - temp reading incorrect

I originally posted this in 'pumping station', but probably should have started here.... I do not think it is possible to move the original post, so I am creating a new one here. As of today, our Pentair UltraTemp 'thinks' the water temperature is 105 degress --- it is really only 75 degrees...

    Control UltraTemp from EasyTouch??

Related to my earlier post -- why is my UltraTemp is reading the actual water temperature at 105 degrees while the EasyTouch is reading it at 78? What would cause this error and how can I correct/fix it?

    Control UltraTemp from EasyTouch??

We have owned our pool for just over a year - we have a Pentair EasyTouch and UltraTemp heater. The installer originally configured the heat pump to be controlled directly from its front panel - not from the EasyTouch. This was not really a problem for us... until today... Somehow, the...

New fiberglass pool is full of cracks... HELP!

Ouch - very sorry to read about the issues you are having. We had our FG pool installed late last year and I can confirm that they took a VERY long time to set the pool initially on the ground. Furthermore, they did not finish setting the pool (e.g. it was still hooked up to the crane) until...

Looking for Robot Rec's for FIBERGLASS- Got the Polaris 9400

Re: Looking for Robot Rec's for FIBERGLASS- Got the Polaris Here's a quick video that I shot - note that my water temp was pretty low this day ~58 degrees. Anyhow, you can see the 9400 easily climbing over the toe kick and cleaning the waterline...

Looking for Robot Rec's for FIBERGLASS- Got the Polaris 9400

Re: Looking for Pool Robot Reccomendations for FIBERGLASS Po So - my new 9400 arrived yesterday and my initial impressions are "WOW!" We had a couple of bad wind days and my pool was pretty dirty. I thew the 9400 in and watched it work its magic. I did not expect it to be great on the walls...
