Thanks! I used a small screwdriver to help push it through just enough to be able to grab the rubber from the other side and pull through. I also dragged the handle end of the screwdriver across the rubber to help guide it fully into position. It wasn’t easy but it worked!

Hi all! I have rust stains from roofing nails on the floor of my plaster pool. I began the ascorbic acid treatment this morning after bringing the FC to 0 and adding algaecide. I added 1 pound of ascorbic acid about 10 hours ago and there has been zero improvement! Help!! PS: My pool is 15x 30...

I did see that. I’m wondering if I need to add it within minutes or hours of when the stain is gone. It just says “after the stain is lifted”. Or maybe better asked this way, how long can I wait to add it before it’s been too long? Is there any downside if I wait a day or two?

I was asking about the sequestrant (like jacks magic pink stuff), not algaecide.

How quickly after ascorbic acid treatment should I add the sequestrant? Does it have to be immediately? Or can it be a few days later? (Wondering if I should go to the local pool store to buy it or order on Amazon) I plan to do the AA treatment today. Thanks!

We bought a solar cover and if any water gets on top (like from rain) when we remove the cover all that gross water and debris falls into the pool. Any way to avoid it?? Do I need to buy a pump to try to remove the water before I remove the cover? (We have one of those reels that rolls it up) Help!

Update: the hose bib was clogged.
