    SLAM OCLT Chlorine level accuracy

Meticulous. I use an eye dropper to ensure the graduated cylinder is filled exactly to the 10ml point, using the bottom of the meniscus each time.

    SLAM OCLT Chlorine level accuracy

That then implies 2ppm loss at 20ppm level ... So if my target is 48 drops can I safely assume 4 drop margin? I'm not trying to rush this but I also don't want to be chasing something unachievable due to the higher ppm chlorine.

    SLAM OCLT Chlorine level accuracy

I'm SLAMing my pool. Although it was crystal clear, I noticed my salt cell required higher percentage than normal for this time of year. Ran OCLT @ CYA: ~55. 6.0ppm down to 3.5ppm the next morining. Not good. Started SLAM, target 24ppm. I use the TF-100 test kit. Question: How accurate...

Calcium hardness: Which results are correct?

I watch my CSI religiously when I test, using the online pool calculator from TFP's website. It has never exceed +0.6. This summer, it varied in the +0.25 to +0.5 range prior to adjusting pH. Once I added acid, it would bring CSI down to -0.1 or so 2 years No. I use a SWG to generate chlorine.

Calcium hardness: Which results are correct?

Thanks to everyone for their input! I ordered the standard R-7063 as recommended. This is the 200ppm calcium hardness standard. Here are the results: TF100 showed 200ppm right on the money! :goodjob: Good news is I was not going insane on my testing. Bad news is I need to drain down the...

Calcium hardness: Which results are correct?

I have been using TF100 for two years. Recently, my Calcium Hardness has crept up to 430ppm. I took a sample to two different Leslies and Warehouse Pool Supply stores (four stores total). All have given me values in the mid 200's. Confused, I ordered fresh TF100 test chemicals, followed the...

Hayward Pro Logic not auto-filtering in spillover mode

I solved my own problem! I contacted Hayward directly. Simply put, I had no times in the timers. I set my "Filter H1" timer to be on (12:15a - 12:00a) and it works beautifully. Apparently Hayward tech support must get this question a lot, as the tech told me the answer before I finished...

Hayward Pro Logic not auto-filtering in spillover mode

Hi! First post. Be kind :-D I have a Hayward Pro Logic PL-PS-8 system. Spa with spillover to the pool. One pump (dual speed Hayward NorthStar SP4015x202. Two auto valves which turn fine (one on supply, one on return). My issue is that when I cycle my Pro Logic to Spillover mode, the...
