On the chiller, I see piping connections @ 1.5" on the models sized for my pool (Glacier ice block) So I'm guessing the chiller would be on a bypass and run thru only two of the pool returns? could you run it thru the cleaner port (with no cleaner attached) and/or other water features vs the...

noted on the sail shade supports. ok, so no more end bench, and new central bench on far side. tanning ledge now 6" with direct step in from coping as I was told steps at 2" deep were hazard. some other refinements on the back of that tanning ledge change. what about waterline? spa will not...

Yeah going to place few umbrella sleeves around the place. Was wondering about sail shades and the support poles for those. Are umbrella sleeves sufficient to handle those with some of the winds we get around here?

loved my spa in the last home, was in there more than the pool :) natural gas piped right to the heater so don't have the propane issue.

thanks, right this swg stuff, last home (also katy) had a swg and yes it worked fine but most friends and neighbors have chlorine tab feeder. what's the big deal? so not cooldeck or the like? will have 1100 sq ft of decking and that much travertine will render me homeless. :) chiller huh...

Does anyone have a good online supplier of the support poles for the shade sails? Do they fit into umbrella sleeves?

from what i gather at least 50% of the pools on this site are in texas. my own interest is in builds in the houston area, who did what and how well it went with contractors, materials, equipment etc. all in a market, climate and soil conditions identical to mine.

curious on where the second gas line is going? one heading out to the fire pit, but the other one?
