Mechanical time trouble

2 wire got damaged and I can the metal coming out from the wire. I don’t know the cause. There a little white mud mix with a little water. The whip only come with 10gauge wires.

I fix the break pop by replace 3 wires that go to booster pump. Bad wires plus there water in the tube. Someone recommended me to use solid wires. That why I ask for second opinion. Thanks

Do I need to replace them all? Someone used all stranded wire for pool pump and outdoor light and light switch. What size wire? I was thinking about replace 3 of this. 1 from breaker to time. 1 to main pool pump and 1 booster pump. Would this work?

Yes, every thing are good except 2 bad cable plus water in the tube. Maybe this bad cables cause my booster pump to die 4 months ago.

When I disconnect cable from booster timer and turn timer on my breaker no longer jump

booster pump still running when timer is off. When timer is on the breaker jump.
