I have set the variable speeds, and the max speed previously. But I didn't know I could disable the priming function, thanks! I got another top (and locking ring) to the 150sqft Hayward type Xstream cartridge filter. I think this will do me for now, especially with the priming disabled. Thanks

For anyone who may have the same problem I bought a new PCB from Salt System Parts and Accessories and it fixed the problem.

After buying a whole new unit in 2016 I had to replace the cell once also. Now the unit is showing no power, no led's. I'm getting tired of alternated buying new cells and new units every 3 years. Would I be better served by a Pentair Salt System?

Had the same crazy vibration. Checked all suction side connections for air leaks. Also, the base is not causing the problem. Read about the electrical tape fix. I used a large o-ring from a corny keg lid (ask a homebrewer), worked perfectly...quiet as can be Soda Keg Lid O-Ring - 2-Pack...

Look for schedule 40 or schedule 80 pvc connections, which are for pressure applications. If it says DWV don't buy it, it's for drain, waste and vent applications.
