The VSF pump runs at 2800 rpm for 4 hours during the day with the solar and 8 hours at night at 1000 rpm. It is connected to the mech timer which is at the on position all the time. The schedules are managed by the digital timer on the VSF. No the solar controller does not control the pump...

Ok one more question. Does anyone know if this booster pump will be fine with VSF speed at 1000 rpm? I hear it works with low flow, but how low? Couldn’t find the answer on the manual. I didn’t want to experiment since I don’t want to damage it.

Yes I considered that. However I’m not running it continuously right now because I’m solar heating. I don’t have a controller for the VSF and solar to work together. I do have a solar controller (LX 220) which I leave on automatic at summertime. I can’t control when it turns on and off since it...

I have this new booster pump along with new VSF pump. Is there a way to connect both so that the booster pump runs only when the VSF pump is on? I don't like the mechanical timer it's currently on since it could go out of sync with he VSF pump when there is power outage.

Thanks I reprogrammed 5,6, and 7 as follows and I’ll keep it this way for now and see how it turns out. Turns on at 7 pm with speed at 1000 RPM for 10 hours. Then turns on again at 10 AM for an hour at 2200 RPM and at 2 PM for another hour at 2200 RPM. I will reprogram for daytime filtering...

Here's another question - If I program #5 to run from 10 AM to 4 PM at 2500 RPM, then program #6 to run at the same time at 2000 RPM, I take it the pump will run #5 and ignore #6? This is a hypothetical question.
