Is the Chlorine from Home Depot ok to use? Not sure if it’s like regular chlorine bleach or if I should stay away from it. Please advise!

Thank you. I searched the forum and found the other posts. I knew not to buy it...I just grabbed a few bottles and that was the only one splashless, just didn't realize. Pool chemicals tested perfectly so I'll just keep my eye on it.

In error, I purchased splashless chlorine and poured a bottle in the pool last night. This morning, around the bubbler, there are bubbles, like the pool water is soapy. I will test and post numbers. Any initial ideas? I'm worried I may have messed something up.

Our pool start up was yesterday (this is my second pool). I don't know when the guy is coming out again. Should I do the daily water chemistry myself or leave the start up to them and then take over once they're done? I used the TPF method with my last pool and maintained water levels myself...

We've moved and this is our second pool build. We've building the same exact pool as we had before. The equipment will be updated once I have all the info.

OK Update - Skimmer valve was leaking, they replaced it, put the PSI pressure to 25. That doesn't really answer my question on why the ground next to the skimmer was wet. I guess I'll look at the pressure valve this afternoon and see what it is....

Looks like you got a chipped edge on your coping. BTW, we paid EXTRA for that!! The smooth edge was what came with the pool where you would not have any chips or marks.

We are halfway through our second pool build (or at least what I call halfway.) The pool deck is supposed to be poured today. I noticed when I got home yesterday that there was water coming out of our skimmer - see pics attached. Also, I noticed that the dirt looked wet where the concrete will...
