Hey @Watershow, no I don't have a heater, but really want one. From what I see on TFP it's recommended to have a solar cover along with your heater. The cover will help keep the heat in, so less gas is used to heat the pool. Also, you lose less water to evaporation. All around I think a solar...

Almost too well!!! We had a couple of 105F days a couple weeks ago. The pool hit 98F... I did laps two nights ago and it was 92F when I got out at Midnight :) My CYA is dropping though and I noticed my chlorine is on the low side :( Working on that now, but otherwise it's been awesome!

That's crazy! Since we put pavers and artificial turf in the backyard we haven't had them back there. A decent sized area in my front yard is all torn up though 😡
