    Intellicenter Wiring

Probably true - I'll upgrade to an Intelliflo at some point - but for now just want to get the Intellicenter up and running!

    Intellicenter Wiring

@Jimrahbe - I recall reading on another thread that the pump should be wired to the line side of the relay which is what I did. Seems that the pump is always running by wiring it that way - should it be on the load side instead? I have a single speed Superpump Thanx

    Intellicenter Wiring

Finally got power to the new pool pad and wiring the Intellicenter. Three questions: 1. The Control Panel Transformer gets wired to it's own dedicated 120/240 CB? Correct? 2. Any reason to go 240 on the main transformer vs 110? 3. On an older thread I see in the first picture a thicker copper...

Intellicenter Load Center - Type 3R enclosure

On the inside cover of the load center I see that it states then when used outdoors it needs a Type 3R cover over the rectangular area. Assuming that's the high voltage area within the load center. Is the cover that comes with the load center not type 3R? Donald

    Adding Pentair Easytouch for automation

Jim, Yes, they are hard to find. Couldn't find a complete set so purchased the Single Body IntelliCenter Load Center with IntelliChlor Transformer. Now looking for the personality kit. Looks like the 8 relay version is nowhere to be found but the 5 is easier to source. Question: Does the...

    Adding Pentair Easytouch for automation

Jim - Is the IntelliCenter the same as IntelliTouch? Looking at the Polytec website looks like what I need is out of stock and searching other sites appears to be the same issue. Any pointers to where I can find the IntelliCenter?

    Adding Pentair Easytouch for automation

I thought the Intellicenter is for complex pools and spa's. What would be the advantage for me to go Intellicenter?

    Adding Pentair Easytouch for automation

Thanx Jim - looks like price is not much different if I get the EasyTouch with SWG or buy it separately. Is there any other downside other than having to mount another power cell?

Moving pool equipment to a better spot. In process I added a gas line to the new pad as would like to extend the season. What I want to automate - 25K pool with pool pump - filter - booster for cleaner (which I don't use but will leave in place) - new heater - pool light and two circuits for...

    Pool Automation System

Thanx Jim - finally getting around to setting up the equipment on the new pad and making a decision on which automation system to go with. I have one pump and filter - a SWG and heater. Have piping for a cleaner so may add a booster pump in the future. So basic setup and would only want to add...

    Paragon Slimlite Replacement?

Did you ever find a suitable light replacement? I also have the old paragon light and converting to LED. I see there was a paragon LED version at some point but nobody has them anymore. Looks like pentair owns the paragon product line as well. I’m thinking the pentair 500w led may fit the niche...

    Acid Wash - New Jersey

I have the Diamonde Brite - French Grey and it just looks too discolored in some areas - hoping that an acid wash can clear some of that up. Don't expect it to completely even out but some improvment would be grat.
