I would go with the 15 ft yes you can cut slits but I bet you wouldn't have to with the 15 ft . I leave mine lay on the ladder don't want to cut it.

A tennis ball or some sort small ball works great in the skimmer. Just make sure it little bigger then hose.

We love our solar cover. The warm water is well worth alittle hassle. And why take it out of the pool? we just fold ours up maybe half way then just push to the side and use bungy cords to hold it in place very easy I put three clips on far side so when we put it away you just pull it back...

We run 90 --- 96 most of the time and we love it especially at night. Our pool is in full sun when water temp drops down in the 80's we don't like it burrrrr.

I do have moles around but so far knock on wood been staying away from pool. The Toads are a differant story it's hard to explian how many toads we have around every where garage,barn,shop,yard, 100's they bury down in the sand.

Last night I was going to put some moth balls around pool and remembered i had a cpl bundles of shingles left so i cut and layed shingles down around outside edge of pool and lightly covered with dirt or i should say sand as all i have around here. I did put some moth balls around but not sure...
