My pool builder came by today and suggested that my TA should be at 110 or so to get rid of the dust from the pebble that was installed in July. My TA is currently at 90 (the maximum according to the charts here). Will doing so actually help? Curious as to the thought process on this.

Checked out the pool today and it looks like a few stains were caused by pomegranate fragments that had falling into the pool (there for less than 2 days). What's the best course of action? Will these eventually go away on their own?

I forgot to mention that I also have a spa that has spillway that connects to the pool. I currently have the pump to only pull from the pool area but return to both the pool and the spa. Are there any special chemistry considerations I need to look into? Didn't really cross my mind prior...

If I slam it to 20 Fc, would the burn off rate be the same as before (.5-1 ppm per day) or does slamming burn off at a much faster rate? And will I need to have my pump running 24/7?

SLAM for my CYA(50) is 20 ppm. Are you saying get my fc to 8 ppm (40%)?

Planning to go away for about 3 days... what's the best approach on keeping my FC within range? What happens if it dips below the 6ppm mark? Should I throw a few trichlor pucks to hold me over?
