Checked out the pool today and it looks like a few stains were caused by pomegranate fragments that had falling into the pool (there for less than 2 days). What's the best course of action? Will these eventually go away on their own?

I grew up with those in Vegas and they certainly can be messy. You might try elevating the chlorine level for a few days and brushing 1 - 2 times each day to see if that helps.

I had some pretty bad tannin staining on my waterline from tree droppings, but the chlorine in the pool and a daily brush removed almost all traces of it. It took a few weeks though.
