    Another problem that could cause this is the swivel connectors in the feed hose may have gummed up and no longer swivel freely. Make sure they can move easily.

    You should not need the trax kit unless you have a vinyl liner. THat said, the corner problem is usually taken care of by the backup valve. If your backup valve does not pull the 280 out of the corners every five or so minutes, then that's your problem.

    I'm curious for my own Polaris pool cleaner, did this every get solved? I will be replacing my booster pump soon since it it over 15 years old now and I would like to know if you ever got wall-climbing back? Also I would like to post your fix on my site for others to see. Thanks! -gw
