I have a Pentair Minimax CH, 200m natural gas heater. Pilot stays lit but sometimes the burners won't fire up and sometimes it does so it is intermitent. Wires all seem tight on terminals, I've been told to replace the pressure switch....Any thoughts or suggestions??

Just wanted to say my conversion is complete and VERY successful. Although I was very nervous at first with all the colors happening. Everything went very well. Thank you to all on this website for being so supportive and actually answering questions almost on the fly. :goodjob:

Re: Just started my conversion Stay diligent I was scared when I started. What kind of chlorine are you using, I used the 10% pool sanitizer, I was checking hourly. The Baqujunk eats up the chlorine very quickly. I would literally putting the amount of bleach in hourly the pool calculator said...

I'm waiting for my test kit to come in. I am using the 6 way strips. I can put the strip directly in the bleach and I get a FC reading, when i put them in the pool I get a zero reading......? Can't wait for my kit to get here.

I added almost 300oz of 10% bleach as according to the pool calculator but I'm still getting a zero rating, should I add more until I get a reading.

I diluted my sample and it still read at zero, is it possible there just isn't any FC because of the conversion

Not a big deal to change the sand out, just added expense, thanks for the insight.....

Definitely have the test kit coming. I have 4 gallons of 10% sodium hypo here, i will us that up and then go to Bleach, way cheaper.

I started my conversion from Baqujunk on August 12, before finding this website. My pool store recommended the Zeneca method. I have a 12000 gallon oval AG Hayward 1.5, sand filter. They had me adjust the ph to 6.8 to 7 then shock with Sun-brite non chlorine shock 42% potassium...
