    Need help finding leak

I patched it and the water level in the pool seems to be holding. I glued some vinyl "samples" from my local pool store to reinforce the area around the skimmer. I applied Goop (silicone adhesive) to both sides of all 3 gaskets of the AquaGenie and sealed it up.

    Need help finding leak

The AquaGenie skimmer was indeed leaking. Found a steady drip: I drained the pool below the skimmer, took it apart and found a crack in the middle of the orifice plate (high pressure return). My local pool store has the gaskets on order so I'm waiting for parts. That ended up being a good...

    Need help finding leak

Yes, I turned off the pump for 24 hours. The water difference inside the skimmer is shown here: I don't see any cracks inside the skimmer. I can't really see around the mouth of the skimmer, nor under the weir door. I tried to remove the weir door but it seems to be jammed in there pretty...

    Need help finding leak

I could use some help finding a leak in my semi-inground vinyl pool. It's losing about 150gal/day with the pump running. As per this Leak Detection article, I've run a few tests. I've sealed off my skimmer and only return (an AquaGenie) and tracked the water loss in the vessel and in the...

    AquaLamp pool light leaking

I decided to take a shot at it. Drained the pool and took the lights out. It seemed to be leaking from around the gaskets. There was quite a bit of rust. Sanded down the rust and sprayed some tremclad. Got new gaskets, faceplates and mounted them with some RTV sealant. Hopefully it lasts

    AquaLamp pool light leaking

I was disappointed to find out this morning that my pool's water level had dropped 2 inches overnight. Did some investigation and it seems to be leaking from my AquaLamp pool light. Is this something I should/could attempt to repair myself? Or leave for the pros (who could also hopefully...

    New pool owner in Canada

I got a TF-100 shipped to a warehouse in Ogdensburg, NY (myusaddress.ca) and picked it up on a trip from Ottawa to Toronto. They do have a push-it-north service if you're too far from the border

    New pool owner in Canada

Is it normal to have algae continually dying? My understanding is that once it's all dead (passes OCLT) that should be it, no?

    New pool owner in Canada

Yes that's what I thought but I've been brushing every day and vacuuming every other day. It keeps coming back
