"no flow" error on my AquaRite

I narrowed my "no flow" error message on my AquaRite display to a bad flow switch. So I ordered a new one which will arrive in about five days. In the meantime, I followed the instructions from another post on how to take a regular phone cable to fool the system into thinking there is a...

Aqua Rite no power. Wasn't CL or K1 relay

I did the same thing.... Worked for about a month... Then the board went bad. Once that thing burns out, the damage to the board may already be done. Hope yours lasts longer than mine!

Aqua Rite no power. Wasn't CL or K1 relay

I finally bit the bullet and called a reputable pool repair company to come out and run a diagnostics on my Hayward board. Bottom line.... the board was shot. So I had it replaced. $300 later, it works like a champ now. Worth the money.

Aqua Rite no power. Wasn't CL or K1 relay

Thanks for the reply! I haven't gotten up enough courage yet to fix it myself, but may try this weekend. Something interesting to note about salt water pool systems.... did you know that one of the main causes for these boards to burn out is due to the fact that we are adding salt to the...

Aqua-Rite flow sensor not working again!

I actually found a way to override the salt level reading on the AquaRite box so that it forces the chlorinator to produce chlorine. Not sure if this will help or not, and it's a manual task you have to run every day after your pump kicks on... but here's what I do since my sensor is out of...

Slimy, slippery film on a vinyl pool

Hi everyone! I have a 20,000 gallon pool that uses a salt water chlorinator. Works great. But... I have this thin, slippery, sorta slimy and discolored film on the surface - - and I can use a brush to remove it... but is there a better way to remove this type of thing? If so, what is it...
