    What is this sensor?

And what do I do with it??? Pool builder left it and never sent electrician back to install it. I *think* it’s a water temp sensor for the salt chlorination but not sure. Tired of dealing with the PB so I’m wondering who I should call to install this and where. It was left outside so the label...

Taylor Test Kit vs Salt Chlorinator

Thank you. I read through a bunch of that but not really sure what to do with it?

Taylor Test Kit vs Salt Chlorinator

So let's say the Taylor kit is correct and I want to raise my salt level... is that going to cause the chlorinator to get an error and stop? According to everything I read, 2600 would be right at the bottom of recommended levels, including those from Hayward.

Taylor Test Kit vs Salt Chlorinator

I get that there would be some difference between the test kit and the readout on the chlorinator display as to what the salt level is in my pool, but should it be as big of a difference as this? My Taylor test kit consistently gives me a result of 2600 and the salt cell is saying 3400. It has...

Itchy Skin: How's my water chemistry?

That is exactly what I do. It turns pink but one drop turns it back to clear immediately. CYA is kinda hard because you are watching for that black dot to disappear. Its always hard to tell when its just at that point of being gone.

Itchy Skin: How's my water chemistry?

ok, i'll bring the FC level back up. And to be clear, after I test for FC and then add the next drop for the CC test, the sample shouldn't turn pink at all?

Itchy Skin: How's my water chemistry?

Long story short, i seem to be the only one in the family experiencing what appears from my research to be "chlorine rash". Immediately after spending some time in the pool I get itchy areas on my skin, which turns into a bumpy rash from itching. And it's fairly symmetrical on my body. If it's...

Finally Time for an In-Ground Pool! Fiberglass in Houston, TX. (Concrete Deck Poured)

The kids have been swimming for almost a month now. I've spent a few minutes in there. :ROFLMAO: Water temp in the 70s is too cold for me! I'll wait another couple of weeks until water temp is in the 80s. Maintenance has been a breeze so far! A single skimmer and 3 returns with no other...

How would you position these return jets?

Thanks, i finally got the rings to turn and that loosened the nozzle allowing me to rotate them. They are molded off-center so that as you rotate, it changes the direction. It's an odd configuration (which is why we liked it) so yeah, that whole toilet bowl thing isn't going to work. LOL Even...

How would you position these return jets?

This is our new FB pool. It has one skimmer on the far short end. Two return jets are on the close short end (blue umbrella), and one return is on the long end pointed at the splash pad. What do you think would be the best position (up/down, left/right) for the three returns? And how do they...

    Quick Electrical Question: Light Switch

The gfci outlet is below and transformer above. Im able to pull some slack from both. Plenty for the neutral especially with the nuetral jumper included with the new switch. Ground will be kinda tight. Older pic i had taken that shows the whole setup.

    Quick Electrical Question: Light Switch

Yes, that's why I'm asking. My first thought was to make all the connections but then wasn't sure if THAT would pose a safety hazard. So here I am. lol

    Quick Electrical Question: Light Switch

This one does have a backup battery for saving settings.
