Anyone with ScreenLogic want to do me a favor???

So this started working again for me today. I didn’t change anything in the settings but I noticed the weather forecast had updated and was correct again for the next week. I use the ScreenLogic app on an iPad mini that is attached to the wall by our pool. I doubt it will last for long though...

Anyone with ScreenLogic want to do me a favor???

Yep… Lasted for a little bit for me and now it’s back to not working. I contacted Pentair support about the ScreenLogic app bugs a little while back and they told me there are no plans to issue an update to the app anytime soon (I’m on iOS if that matters). Chris

Anyone with ScreenLogic want to do me a favor???

I think the system is looking for XML that includes a forecast, not just current conditions. I used the XML feed from forecast.weather.gov rather than the “w1.weather.gov” site I tried initially (like everyone else it seems) and it appears to be working. Here’s what I did: - Browse to...

IntelliFlo Seal Failure on Almost Brand New Pump (SWCG Pool)

So the kit I bought is here. This worked with my IntelliFlo main pump (from the story above) and my waterfall and jet pumps (both WhisperFlo single-speed). There are several YouTube videos that walk you through the process. Additionally, the seal replacement process is outlined toward the back...

IntelliFlo Seal Failure on Almost Brand New Pump (SWCG Pool)

Well, I’m glad I trusted my instincts on this one: I bought a new IntelliFlo pump in February of this year. The IntelliFlo replaced an older WhisperFlo single-speed pump for our pool/spa combo. As a side note, I also converted our pool to SWCG around the same time. I installed the pump myself...

Major Difference Between Plan Volume and Chemical Additions Volume

Thanks for the replies... I’m in the process of adding salt to my pool for my SWG (installed today) and am using an electronic salt meter to monitor the levels. Doing this, I’m right around 17.5k gallons so Rich’s calculation seems just about spot on.

Major Difference Between Plan Volume and Chemical Additions Volume

That’s kinda what I figured. I’m glad I did some homework on the true volume before adding chemicals based on the higher value. I‘m in the middle of a SWG conversion so I added a bunch of salt to my pool (based on the correct volume). Pretty excited to not have to deal with daily liquid chlorine...

Major Difference Between Plan Volume and Chemical Additions Volume

So we bought our house about two years ago. The house came with a sweet in-ground Pebble Tec pool that has an attached spiller over spa, a waterfall, and a beach entry. I was able to obtain a copy of the plans for when the pool was initially built and the specs said the pool was 22,000 gallons...

CH for attached spa with SWG

Ah OK... The way I was reading the ABC’s was a lower CH number prevented foaming... Not the other way around. Once I get my SWG installed, I’ll raise the CH and get everything else dialed in per pool math. Thanks for the advice!

CH for attached spa with SWG

Hi all... Long time lurker and just recently took over maintenance of my pool from the pool guy. I have a pebble-tec pool with an attached spillover spa. I have an IC40 SWG on order that should be here in a week or two. My question relates to the CH level I should be at. In the ABC‘s of pool...
