I will say in AZ, I can't be below 80 cya without losing TONS of FC. Even now in April and I'm only at 40 and doing a SLAM, loss to the sun is dramatic during the day. By June I'll have it at 80.
My pump gets full power from the timer just has to hook on the correct terminals and my swg goes onto the load terminals but I don't have trippers it all runs 24/7. If no power then nothing has power 😂😂
These guys here can teach you your equipment. I wouldn't trust anyone else and many have helped me with my equipment over the years. Just ask and follow their directions.
My pump runs 24/7 I have it at varying speeds on a cycle. My timer was there before and when we got the house has an old single speed pump. So for me it was work with what I had so I did 🤷♀️
Similar to my setup then. Pump is on 1&3 for constant power line & my swg controller is on 2&4 which is the load to timer. I just keep timer on and all runs together
I bought my s1 & surfer as a bundle from Aiper last June. My surfer got replaced by them the 2nd week. Super easy and helpful support. My scuba has ran pretty much daily since I got it. No issues YET.
In Cali, you should be able to find a pool store that does fillable containers. You pay a deposit for the case and just swap out empty for full. I found one here in AZ as well. It's the easiest for me not necessarily the cheapest but definitely the easiest.
I get 8 gallons of 12.5%for $65...
