Overwhelmed with leveling for new pool.

I don't really have a high side, so that didnt affect me. Mine is a softside pool so no need for pavers.

Late to opening my pool. I cannot get CYA granuals to dissolve.

I have an Intec easy set 18' x 48" deep pool. I took the CYA granuals and put them in a bucket with hot water to try to break them down. Then after the water cooled I took the bucket and lowered it into the pool. Its been 36 hours and I am still showing 0 CYA. Last year I made the mistake...

Overwhelmed with leveling for new pool.

I thought I had a level yard. But I laid out an area where I was intending to land the pool, same as yours the 18'x48"deep, and started putting down bags of dirt. I got a couple of lawn timbers and a 4' iron rod. I drilled a hole through one end of the timber and set it over the post. Then...

Ok, I'll head on over and make an investment. The family says they are loving the pool, so I am sure it will be back next year and I am sure there is a more permanent above ground fixture coming soon. I feel like a pushover, but I also think the family time that does not include anything...

How to keep chlorine balanced when pool math says add nothing

Thank you for your kind reply! Yes, pool math is one of the best things I have found on the net and it is very easy to use! And I do see your point about the test strips as being inconsistent and unreliable. I follow what the test strip showed and put in half the washing soda suggested to...

How to keep chlorine balanced when pool math says add nothing

Hello, I am a newbie to pool ownership. As noted in my signature below, I have a 15' round x 48" deep Intec softside pool. We have had it up since early May and until it turned green around June 25th, we have been enjoying it. The reason it turned green, in my estimation, was a combination...
