Deck Jet Plumbing Preference - Loop or Manifold

Went against the advisement and installed a loop for my deck jets. This resulted in all 4 jets being perfectly matched in height when controlled from a single valve should anyone else be stuck in between the 2 methods as I was.

    Am I being to fussy?

1st sentence of the post. "concrete deck". Those pavers are not going anywhere. Were the pavers placed directly onto the slab or floated with sand?

Plumbing Question - Installing Quad DF and VSF Pump

I am installing a Pentair VSF, Quad DE filter and a Hi-Flow MV. I’ve noticed 2 styles of plumbing configurations for the outlet of the pump to the filter valve. Some plumb straight to the valve, where others run the vertical piping up higher than the valve, then back down creating a loop. The...

How to tell if current booster pump wiring is for 220 or 110 volts

Both 110 and 220 will use 3 wires Generally speaking 110 will have a neutral lead and the color scheme of colors goes as: 110 - Black / White / Green 220 - Black / Red(or black again) / Green Since your new pump is 110, just use the 2nd hot for a neutral as Texas stated. It needs to be marked...

    Rolled Bond Beam Removal

While a gas concrete saw would be ideal, I can’t fathom a worker holding it not only horizontal but also above their head for an extended period of time. I had had a rolled beam removed from my pool, but unfortunately was not around when they did so. Thinking it has be a large angle grinder...

    Rolled Bond Beam Removal

What tools are you guys using to remove rolled bond beams to make way for coping? I would imagine it is a large grinder with a concrete wheel, but would like some input. If so, what size wheel? Thanks in advance!

Deck Jet Plumbing Preference - Loop or Manifold

I understand why people choose to do individual runs and a valve, but I am more so interested in the experience of those that had ran the loop. Did it create a uniform pattern from all the jets? Anyone run a loop and have less than desirable effects? Id much rather have 1 control over 4.

Deck Jet Plumbing Preference - Loop or Manifold

Hello all, I am in the process of relocating my pool pump/electrical/irrigation and decided to add some deck jets since the kool deck has been removed. After going back and forth I decided to use Hayward jets vs. that of Pentair due to the height adjustment capabilities. Where the discrepancy...
