Rusted and corroded impeller set screw

Well, after a day wasted, of course NO ONE sells pool parts because no one can fix stuff anymore and just hires out people. I went to three pool stores. All of them had nothing except chemicals, snorkels, and pool noodles. I needed either one Pentair quick fix kit and an impeller screw or like...

Rusted and corroded impeller set screw

No, never did. Tab tower was installed with builder and never used. I ran a bleach/liquid chlorine pool 2019, 2020, 2021 until COVID made the ROI not feasible and then switched to SWG two seasons ago. Cut the tower out to install SWG. It’s currently behind my shed in the easement being used as...

Rusted and corroded impeller set screw

I’ll give it a go. 5yo pool and pump. Never have used tablets. Was a liquid bleach pool until COVID, switched to SWG two seasons ago. Thanks for advice.

Rusted and corroded impeller set screw

Anyone got any bright ideas on how to remove this impeller set screw? Blew the shaft seal this AM. Opened up to replace out and this is what I’m left with. There is nothing to grip with a 3/8” driver. Open to your wisdom.

Anyone know anything about a robot power supply?

Crazy. I mean, I never submerged it, but I'm sure it got wet by rain or sprinklers at some point last year. Sounds like the same issue as I am having.

Anyone know anything about a robot power supply?

Well, 100% confirmed on power supply. I took the sucker apart, found the youtube video by DIY Geek and checked all of the voltage. I really couldn't see anything wrong per se, but I'm not an electrical engineer. Regardless, put it all back together, tried it again, same thing. Works just fine on...

Anyone know anything about a robot power supply?

Shuts down and turns itself off whenever it tries to climb.

Anyone know anything about a robot power supply?

Literally just reguragitating what the pool store that tested it told me. They had an extra Maytronics power supply and hooked my prowler up to it and it worked just fine. When hooked to my power supply it would work just on the bottom of the pool and then fail when it needed to climb...

Anyone know anything about a robot power supply?

this post was edited by Jim R. Afternoon everybody. I have a Pentair Prowler 920, powered by Dolphin (I know, all the same company just different brands) pool robot that is supplied power by the Maytronics LTD IP 54. In a nutshell, and I respect everybody’s personal opinion on their robot...

Looking for a Prowler 920 Power Supply

My dang 920 went out again..finally outside of warranty. This is my 4th one in five seasons. A complete piece of junk. Took it in for service, turns out this time it's not the robot but the actual power supply. This time around, the Prower works fine...until it needs to go up one of the walls...

    Pentair Dolphin 920 issue

Thanks. I’ve actually already taken it apart and cleared the impeller as an issue. No tie ups at all. Appreciate the response!
