So the Evo 614IQ worked perfectly. I was able to hotspot it to my phone and make the schedule on it and confirm it works once its off wifi and bluetooth etc.

Hey Jim, It had active wifi about a few days ago but its at a house no one is living at so I canceled the cable/internet service a few days ago while we manage the estate there. Its very weird not having wifi somewhere lol!

I had a 614iq a few years ago and now that I am remembering I don't think I could set a schedule in the app but I could manually start it away from home. Have they updated the app where you can set an actual schedule now without having to go in the app to manually start it each time now?

Okay didnt know if it would work off bluetooth alone, I can just probably hot spot off my phone to set up the schedule and call it a day.

Can the schedule feature be used without having wifi at the house? I have no wifi at the house I'd like to use it at but would like a pool cleaner that can run on a schedule rather than having to be started manually. I wanted to go for the basic 504 model but I see I need to spend an extra $300...

Thanks for the advice all, I'll look into an Intermatic timer as well as if nothing else trying to fix the wiring on the pump and a cover on it. I'll also consider just running it 24/7. I am just so use to doing a 12 hour on/off cycle with a timer I was just perplexed there wasn't one! Thanks...
