Refinishing / Restoring a Fiberglass Pool Slide

Gkruske, I would love the plans for making a similar PVC frame for a basketball backboard and hoop. I would try to find a stainless rim so it doesn't rust and would use stainless bolts/nuts as required. The PVC will not rust. Just need to have enough counterweights. Did you use sand or water as...

    Outdoor Winter Liquid Chemical Storage

Is it OK to store an opened bottle of muriatic acid and liquid chlorine outside in a small shed-like box over the winter? I do not have the freezing points for these items handy. I do store solid products outside. I'm not a big fan of having hazardous chemicals in my basement over the winter...

    Backstop net for basketball hoop

We put the volleyball net behind the backboard with the net curved towards the pool on both ends. Doesn't stop all, but definitely keeps in a large number of basketballs.

considering going back to the Dark Side

Drop in CYA could be connected to a dilution of pool water after a heavy rain fall. I saw this after an August Hurricane / Tropical Storm went through my area two years ago.

    Algea on thermometer rope

Float the thermometer in the LQ (if you have one) for a while. Already have a highly chlorinated solution there that is safer than straight bleach to handle. David Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Anyone connected a Liquidator into an EcoStar pump drain?

Re: Anyone connected a Liquidator into an EcoStar pump drain Also. If you have a heater, connect a second plug to the heater drain port which will bring the water into the LQ and the filter drain port will take the higher chlorinated water out of the LQ. No drilling needed. David Sent from...

Anyone connected a Liquidator into an EcoStar pump drain?

Re: Anyone connected a Liquidator into an EcoStar pump drain Yes. Bama is correct. I have mine hooked up to the closest drain hole to the basket of my Jandy pump. Using a quick disconnect connection from Home Depot or Lowes makes the installation real easy and real clean. David Sent from my...

    Question about Liquidator

At the end of season, I take the hose off the exit float of the LQ and use it to drain almost all of the super chlorinated water into my pool. Then just rinse out the unit with water or add some vinegar or very diluted MA to remove any calcium buildup. David Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

    Another liquidator question/observation...

I am using upgraded components. From the tank I have the flow meter, then the needle valve, then the check valve, followed by the filter pump drain plug. Thanks! David Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
