    Hayward 500K Heater Winterization Question

I don't remember if I winterized my heater last year. I feel like I did, and I think what that consisted of is turning gas off to the heater and then pulling the drain plug allowing the plastic part on the right side of the heater, where the input & output are connected to, to drain. That...

    Tigershark QC tripping

Yeah PS is fine until robot gets involved. Great response, thank you. I’ll register for warranty in the morning if it’s not too late.

    Tigershark QC tripping

It only trips when I turn on the robot. Is a flooded motor box user fixable if my warranty is expired?

    Tigershark QC tripping

it’s about 15 months old. Yesterday it tripped the power supply while in the pool. I reset the power supply and it tripped again right away. Not really sure where to start my troubleshooting. Any thoughts?

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

Please explain the “cooler air being forcibly pulled upward through the baffles” comment. Not sure I comprehend what air is being “pulled upward.”

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

In case anybody every wondered (like I did) whether or not a chiller is more effective in a dry environment, I confirmed last night that it absolutely is. We had an unexpected bout of dry air in Houston last night. I run my chiller overnight, from 9pm - 6:30am, every night, and do not run the...

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

My pool is 15k and we went with the 210. I can't speak to whether or not it's better or worse than the smaller unit. My builder said I run the risk of my pool getting too cold with this bigger unit. My builder was an idiot -- I wish my pool getting too cold (in the summer) was a problem!

    Glacier GPC 210 Pool Chiller

sounds like I need to mess with my output and see what the difference is. I'm still confused about the role the outlet configuration plays on the system as a whole. Hopefully somebody reading this knows that answer.

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

I don't run it every day because of the expense. I'm not sure how much the chiller costs to run, likely minimal, but it's the increased runtime on the pump that's going to get me. So like I said, I accept a 91 degree pool Monday through Thursday, and then I bask in the glory of a low to mid...

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

I remember reading your results last year when I was trying to figure my chiller out. I am envious of your low humidity as it appears to make a large difference in the amount of cooling you're able to get out of your chiller. I'm still very happy with my results, but I'm jealous of yours.

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

That's not something I've ever looked at but I'll check it out this weekend when my chiller kicks back on and report back with my findings. To be clear, your concern is that the water in question isn't running through the riffles and thereby isn't releasing its heat, is that right? Just want...

    Glacier Pool Cooler - Help

I'm in the Houston area so I'll share my experience. Our pool tops out @ 91 these days. If we have enough 99+ degree days in a row it will top out @ 92. On Thursday @ midnight I have the chiller kick on and run continuously through Sunday @ 2:30pm. Friday the pool will top out 88 and be down...

    Glacier GPC 210 Pool Chiller

Our pool is now a year old and I've had enough experience with the chiller to know it's making a difference. Now that I'm a year in I'm thinking about ways to dial it in to be even more effective, and I have have a question specifically about the outlet valve. I believe the instructions note...
