I'd like to get people's thoughts on using Ahhsome in our hot tub and letting it sit over night. I planned on cleaning up the scum and foam as best as I can during the circulating cycle but then letting it sit over night to give a thorough soak. Bad idea? Thoughts?

So, I found my source of CYA. I had mistakenly grabbed the bucket of CYA that I use for our pool thinking it was calcium....ugh. So, I'm off to drain and clean the tub. Thanks for the advice regarding Clorox, I will be sure to use a different bleach.

Really??? I thought TFP praised the use of bleach as a source of chlorine? Nitro's sticky on using chlorine in a hot tub specifically says to use bleach. Seriously confused....

Has anyone used SilkBalance in their tub? What are your thoughts? I'm thinking that it is nothing more than borates, which I add using boric acid. However, I had dry skin and am looking for some relief and this product came up in a search.
