your cya is too low. if you added it via the skimmer it would go into the filter and dissolve fast. Like within 48hrs (run pump 24/7) you should have a reading. cya needs to be 60-80 also pump run time affects fc level. maybe increase that for a few days to get fc level up. I like to run pumps...

I'm having a problem with an ecostar with svrs. I'm getting: "svrs not available" and pump wont turn on. it just counts down the 3 min prime. is there anyway to run this pump without svrs? Any info is much appreciated. Thanks! 8-)

You can just wait and the pH will rise on its own as the TA is high. Once you are not adding CYA just let the SWG run and pH will drift up on its own.

wow well this is weird. I've been servicing this pool for 2+ years and pH and TA has always been locked. Then TA goes way high. We have been topping up the water as we normally would. Went and tested the fill water today and the TA is 370!! so this is the cause. dont know what changed with the...

Thanks Dave. We have the a/c guys coming back today to blow out the tubes/coils..I'm guessing this pressure sensor is in the coils and could be dirty with scale. Just guessing. I don't know much about the inside of these heaters. Will let them check the pressure sensor. Thanks again. 8-)

yes checked it. we use an a/c guy to repair these. on an island. no support from hayward service dept. I'm thinking a sensor also but the a/c guys checked that. will recheck with them. Thanks!
