I added an additional 2 ft on one side of my freeform pool for a couple reasons. The stake guys weren’t thrilled cause it’s not as simple to do on freeform but no charge, happy customer..

Pool measured 15x22x33 The shelf was large about 9x13 to fit the radius. I would recommend to use like painters blue tape to square of a size put some chairs you want to use and determine size. Most are about 7x7 but it’s personal preference.

Remember steps and shelf will take up a lot of pool even two steps add more space. I’ll send you a pic of mine I did an oversized shelf and added bubblers and enough room to lounge on. I would recommend a nice square on your desired corner preferably where you want to enter the pool and cut...

Why would you make the shelf the length of the pool? What are you trying to do with the shelf? A place to put chairs or lounge chairs will determine the size...

I personally would move the hot tub to the far left corner (water feature into pool) with the sun shelf and widen the pool as a result and still open up the space for decking looks crowded by the kitchen

It suppose to fall below freezing in the wee hours tonight. Do I run all my pumps on high and heat pump heater to avoid any issues?

If your going to heat the pool in colder months. Make sure you cover pool at night to trap the heat for minimal temperature loss, otherwise it will drop 10+ degrees...overnight.

I think it's Per code. Here in Florida it's 12" treads or less?. Anymore may require rail. When they shot mine I thought 12" tread was too steep once in water the buoyancy helped tremendously.

I would recommend the larger light in the deep end facing the shallow end. The 1 smaller one on Baja shelf. The center will create dark spots on either side.

I personally would move the sun shelf to the entry steps side and incorporate both. They both take up pool space[emoji1]. You can easily cut the steps into the shelf and even have the first step wrap longer for a bench like feel.

I would recommend one pool light 1 spa light and (2) smaller lights on shelf opposite each other or 1 centered. The light beam on the small one may not cast such a wide angle. My pool is 15x20x32 and I have one Hayward colorlogic led and 1 smalller nichless centered on the shelf.

I mentioned the overflow pipe to you some time ago. It would cost the builder nothing to install prior to the deck installation. He should have done it especially in Florida with heavy rains...

Each screen is engineered based on wind code requirements . When I asked my builder he mentioned rated at 140mph. I had extra roof support braces per engineering I think any sustained wind over 100 will damage these regardless. How many cable support bracing did you have on rear and sides?

Thankfully all okay minus my panoramic screen spline popped off along the bottom. I am lucky to still have power. Other neighbors are out .Our home faced the worst of the winds from the front of house, otherwise I may have other news to report. I dropped the pool water level down right below...

I have chlorine tabs in the skimmer and drained it some only to waterline tile as we expect lotsa rain thank you for your well wishes!
