Jandy Truclear Pro display not working

I have a Jandy Truclear Pro SWG that was installed 7 years ago. Recently the when the pump comes on and the unit starts the display screen will flash green for a half second and then go dark. I removed the cover, checked the ribbons to the keypad which seem to be securely engaged into the PCB. I...

    Dirt in pool

I'm sure it will work for you as well Cinic. When I looked at the steps of my pool the first few days after the storm the water looked brown and I was pretty confident it was only dirt and no algae. The rest of the pool looked more greenish. I think because of the blue liner (thinking of the...

    Dirt in pool

I did use the recommended method to determine that my system needs 2 cups of DE to raise the pressure by 1 psi. In the early stages of filtering the dirty water adding 2 cups would require me to backwash in about 2-2.5 hours. I adjusted down to 3/4 or 1 cup initially so I could go to work and...

    Dirt in pool

Yes, I did. I added 1-2 cups each time. Less early on in the process, especially if I was going to be gone for awhile as the psi rose quickly. As the water got cleaner it took longer for the psi to rise, so I could add a little more.

    Dirt in pool

Just wanted to provide an update to this post in case it's helpful to anyone else in the future. To recap, we had a flash flood two weeks ago that washed a river of dirt/mud into the pool. Prior to the rain the test results: FC - 5.0 CC - 0.0 CYA - 70 I read several posts on this forum, the...

    Dirt in pool

My filter is a sand filter, so I was adding DE just to increase filtering effectiveness. I really don't think it's a algea bloom as it was crystal clear Sat afternoon before the flash flood. CYA levels prior to storm were at 60 or 70 (still have a hard time with this one sometimes and kept...

    Dirt in pool

We had a flash flood here on Sat evening and a river of dirt/mud ran into my pool and turned my crystal clear water into this! I've read several posts here and decided to try and let it settle and vac to waste to try and clear it. Since Sat I've cleaned out the debris with a leaf rake, let it...

    Help, floating liner

I've raised the water level and the liner is looking like it did last year! Thanks for the advice. Does this mean that I drained too much for closing, should I drain less when closing at the end of this season? I drained about 8 inches, not far below the bottom of the skimmers. I was...
