IDK the cord was perfect until we left it in the pool during SLAM. At that point it got nasty, slimy and slick and has never felt the same again.

I have a sand filter. We've been backwashing it daily.

I have a filter bag that attaches to the jet. It filters out iron. I put it on and 8 hours later, the bag is turning green, not brown or red so I'm still guessing this is algae but why is it being so stubborn to remove?
