Wow, Helen, I love, love, love your color/material choices!! The coping looks great - awesome how the cuts were made. Do I see hints of blue in some of the stones? Whatever I'm seeing looks fabulous with the waterline tile.
And as others have said, the glass tile trims are to die for - my cup of tea! The colors are perfectly gorgeous. I love all the trim work we had done - for looks and function. I still look for edges by using the trim tiles. Very helpful to my old lady eyes! I think you're going to love it more and more. No worries about how it looks now against the raw gunite. My looked the same. You'll be thrilled with how it looks after plaster.
We have the Jandy RS-8 controller. Here's my newbie review of it.... Since I've never seen another remote for pool equipment, I don't know how it compares to other systems. I will say, it has taken a while for me to get used to it. It's easy to use, but I thought it would work like a TV remote or cell phone as far as speed and buttons. I'm not very technologically savvy, so I was surprised it seemed a little behind the times. I thought everything now days was fast and speedy! When you turn it on, you have to wait for it to connect. It's really not too long, but I'm spoiled to the speeds of computers, cells, etc. It seems slow. It really bugged me at first, but I'm getting used to it. The touch on the buttons is stiff and mushy compared to other electronic remotes or cell phones. Complaints aside, I'm so glad to have it. As mentioned, there's no way I'd want to be going out to the control panel and equipment pad to be turning on/off everything or changing the settings. When I test the water and work with the pool math, I have the remote with me at the computer so I can change pump run times and salt cell percentages.
I can't wait now for your plaster!!!! Soon, soon, soon! I hope!
Take care,
Suz.
