The dot bacame hard to see between 60 and 50, then just over 50 I couldn't see it at all, so 50? FC + cc = tc, correct? PH was LIGHT indicating to be below the lowest reading of 6.8. I'm not sure how accurate my ch reading is

Boss doesnt. I have told everyone I know who has a pool about this place, as well as randoms I have bumped into at the pool store, or looking at pool toys in wal mart lol

Glad you got to test finally. For now leave your CYA alone. Your PH needs to come up to 7.2, get some bleach in there to Bring FC back up to shock level, your TA is very low too. Withe a CC of 1.5 there is still something going on in there.
Do this first

Then raise FC to school level of 20 FC
If you are a fan of comedy that is outrageous, unique, or pushes the norm, then Python has been revolutionary throughout their history.
When you look at it without taking it's age into account, it is a bit dated, but still good comedy in many places. It's just the outrageous elements that are now somewhat overplayed or boring by today's standards.
If you give it context, it is genius material. If you watch it for the first time today, along side newer comedies, you'll wonder how they ever succeeded.
(Holy Grail was my introduction to Python, but their other stuff has always been my favorite. I highly suggest you give "Monty Python Live (Mostly)" a try. It was a stage show reunion they did last year and filmed.)

I've never really seen much other Python stuff. A couple skits is about all. I may have to at least give them a shot.

I saw the comments and felt a need to defend one my favorite comedy troupes. I didn't even consider if it was on-topic or not. I apologize. I'll be more mindful in the future.
Another good (once a year) place for bleach is ACE Hardware. They usually have a sale for Memorial Day week the past couple years 1t has been $2.50 for a jug of 10%. Last year I ordered 16 cases (4 to a case) . Hope your family will be in swimming soon your hard work has paid off. soon you will be in maintenance mode.
Borax is in the laundry detergent area at most grocery stores, big box retailers. Most common brand is 20 Mule Team Detergent Booster.
20 Mule team borax can be found in the cleaning isle usually just make sure it does not say laundry detergent and says detergent booster and baking soda in the baking aisle. I have never used soda ash

good deal. Thanks! Do I just parade it around the pool, or mix with water, or what? Do I do borax first, or baking soda? how long do I wait between?
I don't know if they can be done together or not. The best way is to dissolve it in a bucket of pool water and pour slowly in from of the return jet.
